 This Toy is Like a Magnet for Toddlers August 25, 2010

I bought these for Christmas for my then 19 month old daughter to go along with a little kitchen. Like all the other reviewer, she immediately loved the eggs. Over time, she continues to play with them but now understands the concept of matching them with the shapes on the bottom as well as colors. The toy has allowed her to evolve and learn at her level. Also, I have several nieces and nephews (both older 5 years old and younger 9 months) and I have to say that when they comes they really love arranging them too. I mean, it's only 6 eggs so it's not going to keep them occupied for hours, but at least 15 minutes or so. I think it's great addition to add to a little play kitchen, rather than the fake plastic eggs which serve no other educational purpose (like shapes, colors, and pattern recognition). I would definitely buy again.

This toy is great and one of my niece's favorites. I remember these from when I was younger and wanted her to enjoy something. She loves them.

i bought these for my 1 yr old and now that she is almost 2 she still loves to play with them! they offer so many varieties of play, sorting, opening & closing, matching, simple squeaking! It's such a great little toy even my 7 year old nephew wanted to play with them! they are durable too!

Would have preferred each egg to be a different color. The colors are not super attractive in person, as well - especially the dark yellow.

It seems to have lasting power too. Right now they like to hear the "peep" and spread all of the parts around. Later they can work on the shape and face matching. A bit hit for not a big price!
